The SaX dust collector is a cartridge dust collector with a specially-designed intake. The intake is constructed according to the DOWN-STREAM principle. This means that the intake is mounted on the top or on the side of the dust collector. This constructions allows the benefit of using gravity to separate part of the incoming dust, thereby minimizing ‘stress’ on the cartridge.

The SAX dust collector is further constructed with a current leading plate to protect the cartridges against wear, improving the air distribution inside of the filter.

The SaX filter comes with the unique JET-X cleaning system that efficiently cleans the cartridges. When dimensioning, one should take into consideration that the air-to-cloth ratio on the paper cartridges should only be half as much as that of the polyester cartridges. Thus, the area of the paper cartridges twice as large as that of the polyester cartridges.

Application range:

The Sax model is suitable for all types of welding fumes and cases of dusting processes in addition to fluidizing and easily-flowing types of dust.

 

Special features:

Various construction forms of the inlet and outlet are available. The dust collector can also be delivered with an Atex Zone 22 classification.
